COMMON CONCERNS
Being told “you look tired” when you feel perfectly fine is never much fun. Under-eye shadows, hollows or changes in the delicate skin can create that impression. We’ll find out what’s behind the appearance before talking about whether treatment is right for you.
ABOUT THIS CONCERN
The under-eye area can be tricky because several different things can look like dark circles. A hollow may cast a shadow, the skin itself may look finely lined, or pigmentation may be contributing. One treatment won’t address every cause.
We’ll assess the area carefully and explain whether tear trough filler, polynucleotides or another approach is suitable. We’ll also tell you when a treatment is unlikely to give you the result you’re hoping for.
WHY DOES IT HAPPEN
Your natural anatomy and inherited features have a lot to do with how the under-eye area looks. Changes in facial volume and the thinness of the skin can make shadows more apparent over time. Because pigmentation, shadows and hollows need different approaches, identifying the main cause is the most useful first step.
