COMMON CONCERNS

Treatments for enlarged pores

Perhaps you’ve started noticing the pores on your cheeks or nose more often, especially when applying makeup or looking at your skin up close. Pores are completely normal, but if their appearance bothers you, we can talk through realistic ways to improve how your skin looks.

ABOUT THIS CONCERN

Understanding enlarged pores

No one has truly “poreless” skin, whatever a filtered photo might suggest. What we can look at is why your pores appear more noticeable and whether improving the surrounding skin could give you a smoother-looking result.

We’ll consider oiliness, congestion, texture and skin firmness rather than promise to make pores disappear. For some people, microneedling may be part of the conversation.

WHY DOES IT HAPPEN

What are the causes?

The natural size and visibility of pores vary from person to person. Oiliness and congestion can make them stand out, and changes in the firmness of the surrounding skin may affect their appearance over time. If active breakouts or irritation are also present, we’ll take those into account when planning the next step.
