COMMON CONCERNS
If the skin around your cheeks or jawline looks looser than it used to, you may be wondering what a non-surgical treatment can actually do. We’ll give you a straightforward assessment, explain the options and be honest about the level of change you could expect.
ABOUT THIS CONCERN
Skin laxity describes skin that has become noticeably looser. It may affect the definition of your lower face or change how the cheeks and jawline look. The right approach depends on the amount of looseness and the support beneath the skin.
We’ll take both into account rather than promise a dramatic lift from a treatment that can’t deliver one. Where suitable, options such as Sculptra may be part of a personalised plan.
WHY DOES IT HAPPEN
Skin loses some elasticity naturally over time, and sun exposure can contribute to those changes. Weight changes or a reduction in facial volume may make looseness more visible. What looks like laxity in one area may partly reflect reduced support elsewhere in the face, so we’ll consider your overall facial structure during the assessment.
