Every appointment begins with a thorough consultation where your practitioner will take time to understand your concerns, assess your facial anatomy and talk you through treatment options that will work best for you.
Once we're both happy, we apply a numbing cream before we begin so you are comfortable throughout. The treatment itself is relatively quick, and most patients are pleasantly surprised by how easy the whole process is.
Afterwards we will give you full guidance on what to avoid, what to expect and when to contact us as part of our dermal filler aftercare. We are always on hand if you have any questions when you get home.

How long do dermal fillers last?
Dermal fillers typically last between 9–18 months, depending on the treatment area, the product used and your individual metabolism. During your consultation we will explain what results you can expect and how long they are likely to last.
How long does a dermal filler appointment take?
Most dermal filler appointments take between 30 and 60 minutes depending on how many areas are being treated. Your initial consultation, if booked separately, takes around 30 minutes.
Is there any downtime after dermal fillers?
Very little. Some mild swelling or bruising is completely normal and usually settles within a few days. We recommend keeping the rest of the day of your appointment free, but most patients are back to their normal routine the following day. Full aftercare guidance is provided at every appointment and we are always available if you have any questions afterwards.
